Platform

One core, and the modules your company needs

Alibera is a platform of modules rather than a single product. The core carries the base ERP functionality. Everything else attaches to it, and you run only what you use.

Three of the modules on this page are unfinished. They are marked as such, and the copy for them is deliberately short.

01How it fits together

The core, and what attaches to it

Every installation starts from the same core: the base ERP functionality and the shared database that every module writes into. Modules get added on top when your process needs them, which is why two companies on Alibera rarely run the same set.

  • One database, so stock, orders and the books read the same records.
  • Modules are configured to your process after we have analysed it.
  • Permissions by role, department and location, configurable per company and inheritable.
  • An audit trail that logs every login, change and deletion with user, timestamp and action.
  • A staging environment, so changes are tested before they reach production.

Modules on top

We describe the core at the level it is specified today and no further. If you need a feature by feature list for a tender, ask on the call and we will write one against your requirements instead of sending you a brochure.

02Available today

What you can run today

Three modules are ready now. They read and write the same records, so you are not reconciling three tools at the end of the month.

Manufacturing

Manufacturing and MRP

Production planning on bills of material, with make to order and make to stock. This is a capability of the platform rather than a separate product with its own name, and it is the part of Alibera we have gone deepest on.

  • Bills of material for the things you actually make
  • Make to order and make to stock
  • Shop floor data from CNC machines, PLCs and robots
  • Stock and purchasing in the same database as the plan
Read the manufacturing and MRP page

Accounting

Accounting

Alibera Accounting keeps the books inside the same system as production and stock, so an invoice and the goods behind it are not sitting in two different tools waiting to disagree.

  • Runs on the same database as the rest of the platform
  • Data can be exchanged with an external accounting system through files or a dedicated interface
  • Excel and CSV import and export as standard
See how data exchange is built

Retail

Point of sale

Alibera POS is our own till, built on the platform rather than a third party system we resell. It reads the same product and stock records as everything else.

  • Our own product, built on the platform
  • Shares product and stock data with the rest of the system
  • Added as a module when you need a till, and not before

The screens on this page are illustrations of the Alibera interface with sample data. No customer data and no figures are shown.

03Still being built

Three modules are not finished

Logistics, Field Ops and Bookings are in development. We will not describe screens that do not exist yet, so this part of the page is short on purpose.

In development

Logistics

Goods in, goods out and the stock records that follow them. This module is in active development right now, built against a live customer project rather than a specification written in a quiet room.

  • Movement of goods and the records that follow it
  • Barcode and parcel tracking where a warehouse or logistics system is integrated
  • Being shaped by a real customer process as it is built
See warehouse and logistics integrations
  • Field Ops

    In development

Field Ops covers the work your people do away from the shop floor. It is on the roadmap and it is not finished, so this page is not going to describe screens that do not exist yet.

    • On the roadmap, not finished
    • Ask about timing before you plan a project around it
    Ask where Field Ops stands
  • Bookings

    In development

Bookings covers reservations. That is honestly the whole of what we can tell you today. The scope is not fixed, and a feature list written now would be guesswork dressed up as a plan.

    • Scope not fixed yet
    • We will describe it when there is something to describe
    Ask where Bookings stands

04Commercials

What is included, and what is billed separately

Pricing follows the number of people using the system and the number of modules you run. It does not follow how many documents you push through it.

Included with the core

  • The core system and its base ERP functionality
  • Help with the basic setup
  • A set number of support hours, agreed with you
  • Phone and email support during business hours
  • Bug fixes, usage guidance, documentation and updates

Billed separately

  • Additional modules beyond the core
  • Custom development and custom integrations
  • Data migration from your old system
  • Training and workshops
  • Cover for critical incidents outside business hours
  • On site visits, including travel and time

There is also a stripped back option for companies that want the core only and intend to build their own modules on top. We do not take responsibility for the security of modules you write yourself, and we will say that again in writing before you sign.

Which modules would you end up using?

Bring the list of systems you run today. We will tell you which Alibera modules replace them, which ones integrate instead, and which parts are not ready.

The quote follows the modules and the users, and it comes after the discovery call, not before it.
