Pricing

How pricing works

There is no price list on this page and there is no calculator. What there is: how the cost of an ERP project is built, so you can work out which parts apply to you before you talk to anyone.

Every number comes out of a conversation about your scope. Nothing is being kept back from you, it simply cannot be quoted honestly without one.

What a quote is built from

People in the system
Drives the licence
Modules you run
Drives the licence
Setup, migration and training
One time

Nothing here counts your orders, your documents or your busiest month.

01The model

A core system, plus the modules you use

You license a core system and add modules to it. The cost is built from how many people work in the system and how many modules you run, and it is quoted for your company rather than read off a sheet.

  • A core system, with modules added to it
  • Scales with the number of people and the number of modules
  • Quoted for your company, once we understand the scope

What it does not scale with

Your cost does not move with the number of transactions, the number of documents you push through the system, or the size of your company on paper. If your busiest month is four times your quietest, the system costs the same in both.

02Two commercial models

Subscription, or a licence you own

How you payMonthly or annually. Paying annually costs less than paying monthly.A one time licence purchase, plus setup, plus maintenance.

Which one suits you

On-premise tends to be the right answer for complex manufacturing that needs local machine and MRP integration. Cloud is usually the better fit for smaller companies and simpler processes, and it costs less to get started.

03The line between the two

What is in the core, and what is billed separately

Most unpleasant surprises in an ERP quote come from this boundary, so here it is before you have to ask.

Included in the core

  • Base ERP functionality
  • Help with the basic setup
  • A set number of support hours

Billed separately

  • Additional modulesQuoted
  • Custom developmentQuoted
  • Integrations with your other systemsQuoted
  • Data migration from your current systemQuoted
  • TrainingQuoted

How many support hours sit in the core depends on what we agree with you, so that number belongs in your quote and not on this page.

04Contract and payment

Term length, and how you pay

There is no fixed minimum contract value. What we do recommend is a term long enough for the setup work to earn its cost back.

You do not pay it all up front

  1. A deposit at the start
  2. Instalments tied to delivery
  3. The schedule written into the contract
  • At least six months for a basic cloud setup
  • One to two years when data migration and complex integrations are in scope, because the setup cost is higher
  • Larger projects are negotiated rather than priced off a sheet

If the project grows

If the project turns out bigger than we estimated, scope, timeline and budget are renegotiated with you openly, at the point we know. We would rather have that conversation than quietly run over.

05A lighter option

Core only, and you build the rest

If you want the core system and intend to add or build your own modules on top of it, that is a real option and it costs less than a full implementation. It suits a company with development capacity of its own.

The caveat, in plain words

Alibera does not take responsibility for the security of modules you build yourself. If you go this way, that part is yours.

06Getting a number

What to send us for a quote

Send these and we can come back with something specific instead of a range that means nothing.

  1. How many people will work in the system, and roughly what each group does
  2. Which modules you think you need, and which of your processes are non-standard
  3. What you run today, and whether the data in it has to come across
  4. Any machines or systems that need to connect to the ERP
  5. Whether you want cloud or on-premise, or want us to make the case for one
  6. When you want to be live, and what is driving that date

Send us the scope and we will price it

The first call is about what you make and where the current process hurts. The quote follows from that.
